At night time when using your stove, insure you have the water tank filled to the max to prevent all water from evaporating.  If water tank is dry the spigot washer will melt and  cause a spigot leak when tank is filled.

Another method to prevent damage to the spigot washer is to remove the water tank at night and during the day when you are not present at camp.
